"Rebecca has been AMAZING at helping me power or process through my deep and painful issues (extensive trauma). I'm a totally different person. I'm living and doing so abundantly and intentionally. I'm loving life and she has helped me find my true self, heal my wounds, replace the pain, anger, unforgiveness with love for myself, peace, happiness and a zest for life. I owe it to her dedication for my wellbeing, encouragement, validation, willingness to hear my pain and giving me tools to support myself between sessions. She's one of the most caring people I know. She is passionate to help people be their best which is an amazing gift to give someone who comes to her office with maybe no hope or seeking therapy as a last resort. All this is on condition that I also do my work."
"When I first sought a therapist, the options were expansive and overwhelming. After a few failed connections with other therapists, I attended my first session with Rebecca and remain a loyal client nearly two years later. Rebecca has introduced me to a great deal of techniques and insights that have given me the tools to process my experiences and emotions, but more importantly she has provided the safe space for it. I always leave a session feeling inspired, capable and, most importantly, worthy."
"After experiencing some great losses in the period of two difficult years of my life, I found myself facing the potential for more loss. I finally decided to seek some help, and had the great fortune of finding Rebecca to be my therapist. The healing and growth that I gained even within the first months of working with Rebecca were phenomenal. She has guided me to continue to do the work I have needed to do reaching beyond our weekly sessions. I am more grounded and my close relationships have improved as I have become more resilient, thanks to Rebecca's insights and help in navigating some of the more challenging times in my life. I count myself as very lucky to have have been given the chance to go through through this important healing and growth with Rebecca's knowledge and care."

"Victory Ranch Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit that has been in operation since 2006. We provide various equestrian-related therapy programs for disadvantaged/at-risk youth with an emphasis on culturally-diverse, underprivileged, and underserved youth. We also offer and conduct a Homeless Veterans Ranch Visit Program. There is no charge for our programs.
Dr. Wara-Goss has been a great research partner, directing the research conducted between 2008 to 2015. She was instrumental in helping the Executive Director of Victory Ranch create, conduct and manage professional research that has validated that through our programs, we are able to change many participant behavioral disorders for the better.
She worked with me on two successful research projects, the Victory Ranch Inc’s Kids & Horses Education Program Research Study (2013-2015) and the Thematics Analysis Study (2008-2011). Both provided valuable feedback. The comments and observational research both reflected positive behavioral changes in children participants as a result of the program.
She has been a key contributor to the success of our operation, and now serves on our Advisory Staff. Her people skills, professionalism, enthusiasm, attention to detail, and work ethics are stellar.
Dr. Wara-Goss always has wanted to be successful in what she does academically and in a business environment. She has a passion to want to help others and always has a positive attitude.
I would recommend her for whatever she pursues. Her skills, cheerful attitude, and commitment will help her be successful in her new private practice and any future academic endeavors."

"What makes a great therapist? I'm sure people have different opinions. As for me, I believe a good therapist is knowledgeable, caring, responsive, consistent, and most of all connected to the clients' needs. I can say that Dr. Rebecca Wara-Goss is an exemplary example of all of those qualities. Having been her friend and peer for 8 years, I have seen her keen insights, detailed knowledge, and deep connection to those whom she serves in person during our doctoral courses and group and personal discussions. She truly cares about those who come for healing, and if you are so lucky to have her as an equine therapist, her joy and love for horses and the healing gifts she and the horses bring to the clients will be self evident. I highly recommend her services."
